I sit eyes flowing with tears,
Feeling the realities of a mothers fears.
My child has grown before my eyes,
And with heart and soul he tries.
He walks tall with strength in his stride,
His shoulders squared with American Pride.
I sit eyes flowing with tears,
Remembering back his twenty-three years.
That little boy a man all grown,
With a wife and son of his own.
From the beginnings of my motherhood,
To his standing united in brotherhood.
I sit eyes flowing with tears,
Hoping he can hear all of our cheers.
Waiting for the sound of his voice,
Taking pride in his lifes choice.
Praying this world will give him more,
When he finishes with this awful war!

This is a wonderful site. It is great to see our country coming together to get through this terrible assault on us. I feel for those poor families especially children that lost there mom's and or dad's. My five year old daughter would like to send her stuff animals she has to some of these victims children. I wrote a tribute the other night, when I couldn't sleep and all else failed to calm me down, I picked up a pen and started to write, I wanted to share it with all of you
To the Fallen Heroes families, friends and their Families
Uniforms so neat and ironed
Placing badges so bright, upon the warmest hearts
People uniting, getting together and pulling for the best
Risking their lives, not because they have to, but because they want to
Families waiting at home for your return, not knowing that you might not, or already had received the news
We pray that you have your wings now, so that you can fly freely around up there in heaven...because you are the best, the bravest and you deserve to be free
I spoke to God last night....he said everything is just fine...he said he loves his new angels dearly....just as we do...and I believe he does <3

It has been over a week and I have not been able to cry...until I began to see in black and white the love and support from all over. I am a native New Yorker and live just about 10 miles from the WTC. My husband is a NYC firefighter who at this very moment is still down at Ground Zero searching for something.. anything to help bring closure to another person. It has been the most agonizing week I hope anyone will ever have to bear. I just want to say thank you as I can't find any more word and my eyes are full of tears. God Bless America.

Beautiful website!! This has been an awful week with all the lives lost, and to the lives lost trying to help! I'm gonna just keep on praying and trusting in God, because all evil gets paid back one way or the other!!!!!! I think BUSH is doing a great job!! This is a beautiful website. It brought tears to my eyes but the past 9 days have brought tears to my eyes. I see the pictures of all the damage but I just cant even imagine all the terror and fear in that city. I feel for all those who can't find their loved ones and pray that they will be strong. May god bless and keep the families of our nations lost, I pray there will be peace for them in the days to come. Heal our hearts. I pray that those who died met their end on their feet, and that God brought his peace to them. God is good. Keep them Lord close to your side.
