Introduction
Read slowly. Pause where indicated (…)
Find stillness. Let the day fall away — the tasks, the notifications, the responsibilities, the weight of being needed everywhere at once. Just for these few minutes, put it all down.
Breathe in through your nose… and release through your mouth. (…)
You have been giving a great deal. To your work. To your team. To your family. To the vision you are building. And somewhere in the middle of all that giving, you may have forgotten to protect what makes the giving possible: your energy.
Today we are reclaiming it.
Body
I want you to do an honest inventory — not with judgment, just with awareness.
Where in your life are you giving more than you have? Where have you said yes when you meant no? Where is resentment quietly building — not from malice, but from the slow accumulation of unprotected limits?
Notice those places. Breathe into them. (…)
Resentment is information. It is your inner wisdom telling you: a boundary was needed here, and it wasn't set. That is not a failure. That is a signal. And now you can respond to it.
Breathe in… and release. (…)
Now I want you to visualize your energy as something physical — a light inside you, steady and warm. See its color. See its glow.
Now notice where that light is leaking — the commitments that drain it, the relationships that take without replenishing, the habits that quietly dim what should be bright.
One by one, I want you to imagine sealing those leaks. Not with anger. Not with walls. But with quiet, clear intention: This is mine. I choose how it is used.
Watch the light grow steadier. Watch it fill the spaces it had abandoned. Watch it return to the places in your body and spirit that have been running on empty.
Breathe into that fullness. (…)
This is what a boundary does. It does not shut people out. It keeps your light in — so you can give from abundance instead of depletion. So you can lead from strength instead of exhaustion. So you can show up fully in the spaces that deserve all of you.
Breathwork
Breathe in restoration… breathe out depletion.
Breathe in your own needs… breathe out the guilt around them.
Breathe in wholeness… breathe out what was never yours to carry.
Sit with this for a moment… (pause 30 seconds)
Repeat after me:
“My energy is a resource. I protect it with intention.”
“Boundaries are not walls. They are the conditions under which I do my best work.”
“I give from my overflow — not from my empty.”
Closing
Take a long, slow breath in… and release. (…)
This week, honor one boundary you have been softening. Say no to one thing that is not yours. Protect one hour that is fully, unapologetically your own.
Notice what that does for every other hour.
Take a final breath in… and out slowly. When you are ready, open your eyes and return to your day.
You are not here to be endlessly available. You are here to lead. And leading requires that you be whole.
